Serve in a ministry.

Just as a body, though one, has many parts, but all its many parts form one body, so it is with Christ. (1 Corinthians 12:12) – Serving is an expression of our love for God and His people. We serve because we desire to be good and faithful servants of our God-given gifts, talents and resources.

Alpha Ministry

Alpha at RiverLife journeys with those who have questions about Christianity through interactive sessions that explore the basics of the Christian faith. If you desire to walk with others who are in the midst of exploring the faith, join us and serve as a helper for Alpha at RiverLife sessions.

Our Cell Word Resource Ministry is looking for writers to help cell groups encounter the Lord by facilitating conversations about the Word and sharing life with one another. This includes discerning and distilling our Sunday sermons as well as crafting discussion questions that allow for people to share vulnerably and authentically with one another.

Our hospitality ministry plays a vital role in preparing the hearts of worshippers and visitors as they step into the church to encounter the Lord.

Serving opportunities are available in the following roles:

Be the first to usher people into God’s presence at the Worship Centre by greeting worshippers, assisting with seating and offering help where needed.

Traffic Marshal
Support a smooth and safe arrival experience by facilitating the flow of vehicles into the car park area, while looking out for guests and families with young children or elderly.

Café
Prepare and serve food and beverages to build a warm and welcoming space for fellowship and connection in the Atrium.

MegaLife (Youth Ministry)

If you have a heart to see faith take root and grow in the next generation, this is an opportunity to journey alongside others in meaningful discipleship.

Join us to disciple the next generation to be with Jesus, become like Him, and to witness His Gospel to others. With a simple commitment of one Saturday a month, you can play a part in shaping lives and helping the next generation to grow Christwards.

Serving opportunities available in the following areas:

Cell Helper (CH)
A Cell Helper supports the Cell Leader team in fulfilling the Great Commission by helping disciple youths into fully devoted followers of Christ.

CHs assist in cell facilitation, discipleship, and pastoral care, while personally discipling up to four youths in their spiritual growth, life journey, and sense of calling. They attend at least two cell meetings a month, help lead meetings when needed, pray regularly for members, and contribute to yearly cell planning.

Parent Volunteer
Parent Volunteers serve MegaLife on an ad-hoc basis during camps and key events: They offer prayerful support, spiritual encouragement, and discipleship care where needed. Your presence, modelling and counsel can tangibly disciple another youth to know Jesus and apprentice under Him.

Week 2 Watering Facilitator
A Week 2 Watering Facilitator serves in a discipleship-focused gathering designed to help MegaLifers reflect and respond to God’s Word from the past three weeks of sermons.

During the discipleship groups segment, facilitators lead small-group (max 5pax) conversations using a structured guide. Their role is to sow biblical truth and nurture growing faith through honest, life-giving dialogue. The commitment is light—one Saturday a month, 2:30–4:30 PM, from February to May.

Prayer Support

The Intercessors Network seeks to build a culture of prayer and intercession. Grow in the area of intercession by committing to attend the monthly Intercessors meeting and participate in the Sunday onsite prayer once a month.

Serving opportunities are available in the following areas:

Expectant Mothers Ministry

SuperLife (Children’s Ministry)

In SuperLife, it is our prayer that as a church, we will raise a generation who knows and loves God wholeheartedly. We desire to see our children grow to love the Lord our God with all their heart and with all their soul and with all their mind and with all their strength (Mark 12:30). We believe that if we “train up a child in the way that he should go, when he is old, he will not depart from it” (Proverbs 22:6). We are looking for people who are faithful, available, and who are able to serve twice a month for a minimum of 1 year.

Ministry pre-requisites:

  • Be a regular worshipper at RiverLife Church for at least 6 months

  • Be a regular cell attendee

  • 19 years old and above

Serving opportunities are available in the following areas:

Cradle Roll Teacher

Preschool/Primary Small Group Teacher

You will be akin to a cell leader to a group of children of the same age group. The role of a small group teacher is to disciple and help build strong foundations in the children’s faith by reinforcing Bible lessons. Through prayer and faith-filled conversations, You will help make the Word of God relevant to their lives. Small group teachers also have the opportunity to point our children to Jesus by befriending, encouraging and providing a listening ear to them. On-the-job training will be provided.

Special Needs Teacher

You will look after special needs children on Sundays. You are passionate, loving and patient. The primary ingredients in providing quality care to children with special needs are observation skills, a willingness and desire to be flexible. Generally, since the abilities of every child vary, so will the amount of individual attention.
