RiverLife Community Services: Serving Opportunities

Through the KiperKids programme, children aged 7 to 12 receive support in their academics and character development. KiperKids develop children holistically by inculcating positive values and practical life skills though mentoring and close partnership with their parents.

1. Befrienders + Academic Support (Online via Zoom. Serving children aged 7-12.)

Volunteers will serve as befrienders to children from low-income families. They will support them in their Maths homework. Sessions will be held online via Zoom.

Commitment:

  • Once a week, Online via Zoom

  • Until mid-Nov 2025

2. Befrienders + Academic Support (Onsite in Sengkang. Serving children aged 10-12.)

Volunteers will serve as positive role models to our pre-teens as well as support them in their Maths homework. Sessions will be held onsite at RCS Centre in Sengkang.

Commitment:

  • Every Wednesday (In-person at RCS Centre in Sengkang)

3. Befriender + Reading Support (1 Volunteer Needed)

To help a Primary 5 girl and support her in her reading proficiency.

Commitment:

  • 3 times a week – Mon, Tue, Thu

  • Until mid-Nov 2026
