2. God has sent His Son to overcome this darkness (John 3:16-17, 1:6-10)
3. How has Jesus added colours into our life?
a. New life, new freedom, new future (Ephesians 2:1-7)
b. Light to guide our path (John 8:12, 119:105)
c. Abundant life of fullness, joy and purpose (John 10:10)
d. Hope of an eternal home in heaven (2 Corinthians 5:1)
4. Unbelievers can’t enjoy such blessings.
a. No eternal life (John 3:36)
b. No blessed hope (2 Thessalonians 1:7-9)
c. Lost, confused and helpless (Matthew 9:35-38)
5. How should we respond to their lostness? (2 Kings 7:3-9)
a. Pray for their salvation. (1 Timothy 2:1-4)
b. Share the Gospel (Mark 16:15-18, Romans 1:16)
c. Invite them into our world of colours (Acts 2:44-47)
6. Application: Let’s add colours to this dark world.
a. Pray for the salvation of our pre-believing loved ones and friends.
b. Ask God for opportunity to share the Gospel with them.
c. Be bold to share the Gospel in the Spirit’s power.
d. Practice a purposeful lifestyle of reaching out to the lost.
e. Invite new believers into our loving community for discipleship.
