Elders Board Update
FROM THE CHAIRMAN OF ELDERS BOARD
Dear RiverLife Family,
We are writing to share an important update regarding our church leadership. Following a needed season of rest, reflection, and seeking the Lord in Hong Kong, Elder Ee Yang has requested to step down from his role on the Elders Board.
In this season, Elder Ee Yang feels the need to devote greater time and care to his marriage, family life, and also to steward his legal practice. Out of love for the church and a desire for an uneventful transition, he has asked that his release be conducted quietly, allowing our church family to remain focused on God's ongoing work while giving Charmaine and himself space during this season.
While our Elders Board receives this news with mixed emotions after many years of co-laboring together, we do so with hearts of surrender and trust in God’s guidance. The Elders have spent time praying over Elder Ee Yang and Charmaine, wholeheartedly blessing them and their family. We are deeply grateful for Elder Ee Yang’s faithful devotion and years of sacrificial service to our church family.
Elder Ee Yang has officially stepped down from the Elders Board effective September 30, 2026. Please join us in holding Elder Ee Yang, Charmaine, and their family in prayer, asking the Lord to cover them with grace, strength, and joy as they step into this next chapter of family life, work and seeking the Lord about their pastoral ministry in the days ahead.

亲爱的生命泉家人们，
在此，我们要与大家分享一项有关教会领导层变动的重要消息。李一阳长老在香港经过一段时日的休息、反思，并寻求主后，决定卸下在长老团的职分。
在这个季节， 李一阳长老 感到自己需要多花时间和精神在婚姻和家庭生活，并更好地经营自己律师事务所的工作。出于对教会的爱，他希望整个卸任过程能低调和顺畅进行，好让教会这个大家庭继续专注在神的事工，也给他和妻子 Charmaine所需要的空间。
长老团在得知这个消息后，心中百感交集，毕竟与李一阳长老多年来一起并肩携手服事，但仍愿意顺服和相信神必有祂的带领。长老们也花时间为李一阳长老和 Charmaine 祷告，并衷心祝福他们和他们的家人。我们为李一阳长老过去多年对我们教会大家庭忠心的摆上和牺牲的奉献深表感恩。
李一阳长老已于 2026 年 9 月 30 日正式卸下他在长老团的职分。请与我们一同在祷告中记念李一阳长老、Charmaine 以及他们的家人，不管是在家庭生活，工作或牧养服事上，求主带领并赐给他们恩典、力量和喜乐迈入新的篇章。
