Our Beliefs

WE BELIEVE that the Bible in its original text is the divinely inspired Word of God. It is inerrant, infallible and authoritative in all matters of faith and doctrine.

WE BELIEVE in one God, co-existing eternally in three persons – Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

WE BELIEVE in the eternal deity of the Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of God, born of the virgin Mary, became man without ceasing to be God and lived a perfect and sinless life on earth, healing the sick and proclaiming the good news of the Kingdom of God. He was crucified, buried and on the third day rose again, in order to reveal God and redeem sinful man.

WE BELIEVE that the Lord Jesus Christ after resurrection appeared physically before many witnesses and after 40 days ascended to heaven. He is now seated at the right hand of the Father interceding for the saints.

WE BELIEVE in the personal, visible and imminent return of the Lord Jesus Christ and that His return is central to God's plan for mankind.

WE BELIEVE in the Holy Spirit. He brings conviction of sin, repentance and faith in Christ and He sanctifies, comforts and seals our relationship as God’s children.

WE BELIEVE that the Holy Spirit empowers us to live Christ-like lives and endows us with all necessary spiritual gifts to minister and build up the Church. Without the filling of the Holy Spirit, it is not possible to live a godly life and to minister effectively.

WE BELIEVE that the Church is the Body of Christ and consists of men and women who have been baptised into the Body. They are to use their God-given spiritual gifts to serve the Church and fulfil the Great Commission.

WE BELIEVE that man is sinful by nature and choice and is totally unable to remedy his own lost condition.

WE BELIEVE that man's salvation is the effect of regeneration by the Holy Spirit. It is a gift given by the grace of God through repentance towards God and personal faith in Jesus Christ, whose atoning blood was shed once and for all for the forgiveness of sins.

WE BELIEVE in water baptism of believers, which symbolises the believer’s union with Jesus Christ in His death, burial and resurrection.

WE BELIEVE in the observance of the Lord’s Supper commemorating and proclaiming the sacrifice of our Saviour till His return.

WE BELIEVE that the believer should practise consistent Christian living and conduct before God and man and to be a witness for the Lord Jesus Christ.
