Before accepting Jesus as my personal Saviour, I was a free thinker. I was very confident in life, treating every challenge as a learning experience and always thinking that I was in control of my own life. In reality, I was only living my life one day at a time, not knowing what the future would bring.

When I was 12, I started to put my faith in Jesus as my personal Saviour. After that, I went to church together with my childhood neighbour and slowly I got to know Jesus better. However, I never properly settled down into that church. Later, I joined another church where I was married in 1993.

Like most parents, I was very anxious at the beginning of 2006 because my son was going to sit for his PSLE. My anxiety was not about getting him into one of the top schools.
